Flapdoodle, thank you as always for your replies. You've helped me identify quite a few things over the years. :) But, looking at the map on the link you gave me, it seems like that skipper has a range which doesn't include the coast...
Okay, it appears to be a woodland skipper (Ochlodes sylvanoides).
My inclusion of Polites draco was based on your location (Cranbrook), as I was not entirely sure whether the image had been taken there or in Vancouver. My apologies for any confusion...
