Or near enough. I 24 halfway tween Clarksville, and Paducah. Half a mile of this scenario, prob 1/4 m deep. Every persimmon has the bagworms all the way to the river bottoms north. A few pecans. Think its the worst I have seen in ages..Seems to run along the rivers as Illinois has a good many of the nasty things- just not whole strips dying..
Ky, VV stompin grounds
Wow - that's awful. Don't be bringing those things up this a-way (I-64 corridor). We don't have such pestilence in the Bluegrass.
Hope you disinfected well before you left there...
That is awful! I'm telling ya, there are some weird things happening in Kentucky. Maybe not pestilence, but some freaky stuff.
It awes me going thru there, that was just one copse in an area. They are drawn to the tons of little persimmons across there. Dont seem to bother the tobacco, corn and soybean fields, but they are turning the trees dead. Saw a few trees that seem to be going to die as well, the leaves are just gone except for a few at the top, but you can tell SOMETHING is at them. I had wondered if they were as bad in your area...
