Hey All,

I live in southern california and I was wondering if this spider I found in my garage is a brown recluse?

Looks more like a crevice weaver in the genus Kukulcania, such as Kukulcania arizonica (Arizona black hole spider) - https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q=Kukulcaniaarizonica&m=tags

Nope not a brown recluse unless it is a mixed hybred LOL The fiddle on its back is very distinctive if you see one.

Oh, okay. I thought this part I circled was the fiddle and what appears to be the 6 eyes in the brown recluse shape:
