Folks,
I live in an area with a high deer population, and my neighbor has warned me about planting tulips.
I read somewhere that Dutch farmers plant fritillaria and tulips together to deter deer.
Has anyone tried this, and does it work? If yes, does it work only for deer or rabbits as well? What proportion of fritillaria to tulips is effective?
Thanks!

Using fritillaria to protect tulips?
Deer.... will take notions to nibble anything but love the flowers...i planted rebar sticks around my peppers last year, made it the whole season without losing the peppers. Suspect someone had shot that deer tho...
