Not had a single flower on my gardenia. Bracts (?) turn orange, buds drop, leaves yellow. Tree is four feet tall, thin, gets plenty of sun. I bought it in May, but after this lackluster showing, not sure it's worth wintering over. Suggestions?
Gardenia issues
they require acidic fertiizer and full sun, I successfully bought one marked down in May that had bloomed out, set it outside, full sun, set up buds and has bloomed all summer. I researched it, and they can be very finicky. Don't know if I will be able to winter it. Good luck!
