Hello I came home yesterday and found 25 of these on my bedspread they were not there that morning however my dogs are home all day playing on my bed. ...these bugs are completely round about the size of a chia seed with no visible head they barely move and also i noticed a white spot on its underside .
We live in a rural area and have not seen these bugs anywhere else in the house and only on my bedspread yesterday
we also have been outside a lot lately with the dogs doing yard work ...What are these things?
please help !!.. Thanks so much
Tiny round black bugs on bedspread
Very difficult to tell much from these images; possibly mites (or less likely) tick larvae. I suggest showing these to a veterinarian to see if they are anything to be concerned about...
Image out of focus; cannot identify. Please start a new thread for your query rather than appending to an existing one.
I have found the same thing on my bed and on my dogs bed. Has this been identified? Thanks for any information or advice.
@Medtechmomx3 - Please submit an image of your specimen(s) on a new thread.
These where also found on my bed and they where brought into my house by my dog. These small black bugs are round in shape with tiny red legs that aren’t visible to the eye and the bug seems headless. These are for certain “Black Pepper Mites”. You can do your own research to see how to get rid of them. In my case my dog brought them in and I am doing my best to clean every sofa and mattress he has been in contact with. A simple vacuum should keep them out of the floor. Shampoo your dog everyday for 2 weeks to make sure the larvae will not survive on his/her body. Lysol furniture should keep them away. Spread baking soda evenly across your bed and vacuum it up after 10 minutes to kill the larvae if they are on your bed. These bugs are harmless but they are annoying and creepy. This is all the information and advice I have. I hope it helps.

@Bugman98 - These are NOT "black pepper mites" (aka bird mites).
