The attached pictures features a large spider, with bulging eyes, and one leg seemingly much longer than the rest (although this may be an impression caused by the fact that this leg was the only one that was outstretched). The insect was found immobile, on a hand towel, in a hotel restaurant restroom in the Dominican Republic.
Can anyone identify this creature?

Cannot be certain from these images, but possibly a male huntsman/giant crab spider (family Sparassidae). Not dangerous to humans.
