I planted two plants that I started from seed this spring. Both are doing great, which makes me happy, but I grew them thinking I could use them in my herbal tea. Now that I have been collecting the flowers, drying them, I decided to be safe and make 100% sure I could use them in my tea. I can not find any information indicating I can. I see where the seeds can be used, but not for the use in tea?
Does anyone have any information on whether I can? If not can anyone tell me what type of hibiscus I can grow to use as tea?
Thanks in advance :)
Abelmoschus moschatus (Pink Okra)
I think Hibiscus sabdariffa is the type most often grown for tea.
But not the seeds, themselves. Maybe I'm misreading the OP.
