The first image is a darner in the genus Aeshna, there are several species that can have a similar color pattern; here’s one example: http://www.americaninsects.net/d/aeshna-canadensis.html

The fly in the second image might be either a soldier fly or a syrphid, but I really need to see a dorsal view.

The dragonfly in the third image looks like one of the meadowhawks in the genus Sympetrum - see http://www.dereila.ca/dragonflies/14Autumn%20Meadowhawk%20Sympetrum%20vicinum.jpg for an example.

The grasshopper in the fourth image looks like a male Melanoplus bivittatus - http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qlZCpRpMKzk/U9EmuKUxrnI/AAAAAAAANJI/ca0yzbD7jqs/s1600/Grasshopper-2.jpg

The beetle in the fifth image is a flower longhorn in the genus Trigonarthris – see http://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/trigonarthris_minnesotana for an example.
