Hey guys, just bought a small potted dill plant. Two weeks into having it, these small bugs began to appear- no idea what they are. No sign of eggs. The body appears to be green and has white 'hairs'. It moves rather quickly and does not appear to be eating the plant thus I assume its a predator most likely feeding on caterpillar eggs/larvae.
PLEASE HELP ME IDENTIFY
This is indeed a beneficial predator, it's a larva of a lady beetle known as the mealybug destroyer - http://hortsciences.tamu.edu/galveston/beneficials/beneficial-15_ladybug_mealybug_destroyer.htm
