CLOSED: Baby scorpion? How dangerous ?Id ?

Location Northern India, Punjab state , inside my house. Is this a baby or an adult , size about one and half inch from head to tail. Q1. Do baby scorpions bite ? How bad? Q2. Name of this and how dangerous?

I cannot tell for certain whether this is a juvenile or an adult of a small species. That aside, scorpions having a combination of slender front claws (chelae) and a relatively thick tail generally are more dangerous than those having robust chelae and a more slender tail.

Scorpions don't bite, they sting with that thing at the tip of their tails. This is sometimes dangerous and even life-threatening, especially if the victim is a small child. Even if a given species is allegedly less dangerous, all scorpions' stings sure hurt like hell!

This cute little one should be taken out of the house, carefully of course so as not to get stung, and returned to the garden where it belongs and where it is supposed to work for you doing pest control...
