Help me I'd this. It's a little over 1 cm flying around the house.

This appears to be a small ichneumonid wasp; these all are parasitic on other arthropods, mainly other insects, like their sister family Braconidae. See ftp://delta-intkey.com/britin/images/ichbra01.gif for an image showing the difference in wing venation between these families.
