Any reason why one juniper has a million berries and the other one doesn't? Are they bred that way or is it just kind of random. This was on Plymouth Beach last week in MA..
Thanks!
Junipers
You mean ...has a million fertilized female cones..., right?
I think it is a proportional thing - some individuals are mostly/all female, while others are mostly/all male.
Then again, Resin may straighten this out for us all...
A lot of junipers are dioecious, so one's male (no cones), the other female.
Resin
Got it. Thanks guys. :)
