I have two Montauk Daisies and they are very green on the top but on closer exam leaves at the bottom are yellowing and turning brown. Leaves on the top have a white slime where the leaves attach.
What is this and how to I make my plants healthy again?
Montauk Daisy have white slime
Is it slime? Or fluff? Can you get a closer photo? Pick the affected leaf off your plant and get as close as you can.
A new question. Touch it. (yuk!) Does it feel slimy or do you think its made up of tiny froth bubbles?
My thought is spittlebugs. If it were slime mold, it would probably cove the whole plant by now.
yes, it has tiny bubbles. I will look up spittlebugs and to think I brought some inside. YUK
thanks so much
