What is this bug in my home?

Bloomington, CA

I left on vacation for 5 days and came home to this insect. It's all over my kitchen ceiling and outside my porch light. What is it and how do I remove it for good immediately.

if those larvae are all over inside, I'd suspect a pantry pest moth of some kind. Could you possibly have a dry food item that's been unused for years? You'll have to clean out the stored food until you find the source.

Minot, ND

This is an Indianmeal moth, Plodia interpunctella (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae); a very common pantry pest. See http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/urban/stored/indianmeal_moth.htm for more detailed information, including control recommendations

Recently I've been seeing this bug flying around my house and I have no clue what this is. I assume its a wasp but I don't know. The tail of it has a reddish color. Please help me I'd this.

Wasp is an excellent guess, maybe sawfly (which is type of wasp).
You should start a new thread of your own in this forum to get new looks at your insect.
