Jewelweed Spreading Like Crazy

Help! Our backyard borders a large wooded area and jewelweed grows in abundance along the edge. But lately it's been spreading - into the grass, into my shrubs and into my gardens, choking out everything else. I must have pulled hundreds of plants so far this summer but in a couple of weeks, it's back again. Yes, I know it's got medicinal properties, it's pretty when wet, hummingbirds like it - we've got a large property and it's taking over!!! I don't think it's flowered yet. Please advise!
