will Gaillardia grow in Henderson, Nevada (Clark County) the Las Vegas area? Will it tolerate our summer heat?

Look for big (at least 5 gallons - the bigger the better) heavy pots. The biggest problem with growing perennials in pots in hot climates is keeping the roots from cooking. Place your pots in areas that do not get sun in the hottest part of the day.
