Should I use this product Vacation Pyramid in my pond to feed my fish while I am away. Will it hurt them? Anyone use it before? I am very new to this and am learning!!!
Leaving town for 1 week
You don't need to feed your fish at all for a week's absence. Most people grossly overfeed their fish, with resultant water quality problems both in indoor aquariums and in outdoor ponds. Your fish can get by just fine for that time, eating a more natural diet - insects that fall in the pond, and plants and organisms that live in the pond already.
I was thinking that was the case but wasn't for sure! Thank you so much for replying back!!!
My pond is established and filtered. I never feed my fish.
