these insects pics are taken in Jammu (India) please identify them
please identify these
Number one is a nymph of a bug in the family Pyrrhocoridae, but am unsure of exact species (I have seen this misidentified as a cotton stainer nymph).
Number two appears to be a nymph of a bug in the superfamily Lyageoidea.
Number three is a wasp, but not enough detail can be seen for an accurate identification.
Number four appears to be a parasitic wasp in the family Ichneumonidae.
Number five - Uncertain of this ant species; there is one in the genus Camponotus (carpenter ants) that can have a red head (Camponotus sericeus), but I don’t think that it is your species…
Thanks for this but can you please tell me with assurance what are they
Unfortunately, no. Some images simply do not show enough detail, and in the case of the parasitic wasp, the two main families Ichneumonidae and Braconidae) include so many species of similar appearance that only an expert on them might be able to provide a specific identification.
can u please tell me from where i can get identified them
