I am new to this site and very new at outdoor ponds. I bought a water Lilly this spring and it has produced many leaves. A Lilly finally popped up and opened for a day then the following day it was closed up and under the water. The stem is curled. What could be wrong. So disappointed.
Water Lilly went under the water
That's what water lily flowers do once they're spent. Completely normal.
They only last a day or two. All you can do is wait for more flowers to be produced, and cut off the old flower stem to keep things neat, if you want.
Thanks so much. I feel better now that I know!!!
