So I just had my first child and then I find these little bugs in the basement.
See pictures.
These started in my laundry room which is a type of mud room. Room has concrete floor and partially finished. These bugs are very small. You have to bend over to see them with the naked eye. They are like a pinhole. They don't seem to fly. They crawl around the floor.
I vacuum them up and then they come back. I cannot find the source. I did put bleach down drains but that hasn't worked.
I sprayed home defense on the floor and around the room but that has also not worked.
I live in Minneapolis.
Can anyone help me identify the bug?
Thanks.
Kyle.

What is this bug?
These are springtails, harmless nuisance pests in the order Collembola. They are found nearly .anywhere there is moisture and bits of organic matter for them to scavenge.
