This guy nearly hit me in the face around 3am last night. I've been all over google and can't identify it. I live by a creek in Southern PA. Please help!

A clearer, more static photo would be helpful. Best guess is a female dobsonfly, but the yellow patches where wings attach give me pause. Locally, areas near streams are rife with adult dobsonflies at the moment, but without better photos it is possibly an adult fishfly.
Looks to me more like a fishfly than a dobsonfly, but a clearer image definitely would help...
That was the best I could get for a picture. It was dark out and he was going crazy. Seemed to be having difficulty flying. But thanks for the guesses! It's been driving me crazy. The bugger was huge.
I googled based on your guesses, seems to be a summer fishfly. http://m6.i.pbase.com/o9/55/819955/1/127177576.8p010VXM.SummerFishfly.jpg
thank you both!
