Propagation Techniques for woody plants?

Hiya All,

I was wondering if there are good propagation techniques for:
Loquat
Pomegranate
Pineapple Guava
Kiss me quickly

I have tried to cut off new growth branches, put some rooting hormones and sticking it into wet pearlite, after a month they all turned black...

ALSO
Would anyone be interested in parts of those plants?
