They are brown and have 6 legs.They only fly if moved, and not very far. Hard shell and round. They seem to be attracted to the light.

This is a pea/bean 'weevil' (actually a specialized leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae). They infest a variety of whole seeds/grains, primarily those in the legume family.
