This bug is all over the house on outside and is making its way inside as well. It has 6 legs and moves them underneath body when touched.
They do not fly, only crawl. It is the size of an eraser head. We live in Illinois, 40 minutes of Chicago. Our property backs up to 172 acres of unfarmed land with grazing cattle.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
This is a short-snouted/broad-nosed weevil in the subfamily Entiminae of the family Curculionidae. Some of these can be agricultural/garden pests. but they will cause no harm indoors.
