little yellow spider guarding egg sacs

Schenectady, NY

Good evening,

I've searched many online resources and have yet to find this pretty little thing.

Has been in the same position since discovery on Mon. July 6, 2015. Have seen in the same spot earlier and later in the day.

This is located on an outside corner of the house, at about adult eye level, using a spigot as an anchor for the sacs & webbing.

The spider is maybe the size of a fingernail. The body is sort of a prism shape with two "shoulders" on its back.

We're located just outside Albany NY.

Thanks for your help!

This obviously is an orb weaving spider in the family Araneidae, but it's not a species I recognize. The web structure appears typical of that of the so-called trash orb weavers in the genera Allocyclosa (see http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3156/3070549168_4754027c06.jpg) and Cyclosa (see https://bioweb.uwlax.edu/bio203/s2014/hiti_aman/7000567269_31739bf26c_b.jpg), but your spider obviously is neither of those...
