I saw many of these at a swamp in Vancouver, British Columbia. I've seen various bluets online which look similar. Can anyone identify these precisely and how does one go about distinguishing one bluet from another? Thanks in advance for any help!

I believe that this most likely is either a boreal bluet (Enallagma boreale; see http://fieldguide.mt.gov/speciesDetail.aspx?elcode=IIODO71010) or a northern bluet (Enallagma annexum; see http://creagrus.home.montereybay.com/NorthernBluet.html). These species appear nearly impossible to separate in the field.
Thanks Flapdoodle!
