I started baby's breath this year by seed indoors and transplanted them into the garden a month ago (bottom left). I'm realizing that my buttercup squash will soon crowd these out. Is it safe relocating them to another sunny spot?
Moving young baby's breath flowers, will this kill the plant
Sure. Just try to dig up a goodly amount of soil around the seedlings if possible (they may not be very thoroughly rooted in yet, so this may not be possible) and keep them well watered once moved.
Thank you, I will do that this week!!
"Well watered" will probably mean daily watering in hot summer weather.
