This creature is roughly 1/4" long - I originally thought it might be a wheelbug nymph, but the more I look at it the less sure I am.

It's a nymph of one of the spined assassin bugs in genus Sinea - see https://www.flickr.com/photos/drphotomoto/3639581920/ for an example.
