I didn't receive any answers on my previous post but it turns out I need to water my bougainvillea every day...things are starting to bloom again..now, there is a black flying but that's eating my brackets...how do I stop this?
Thanks,
Shandi
What's eating my bougainvillea brackets?
Hi. It looks like Leafcutter Bees. Here's some info: http://ceventura.ucanr.edu/Gardening/Coastal/Landscape_578/Pests/Leafcutter/
Here is a link to a very short Youtube video of leafcutter bees in action in NYC. Be sure to enlarge it to the big screen so you can watch them take the round cuttings!
