Moved into a new place. My room with carpet is where I see these small guys randomly appear on my skin. When I go to touch them they hop/jump away. No animals in the house. Looks like flea? Long back legs. Carpet was recently cleaned. Should I get chemical from store to spray in empty room?

Images are not clear enough for identification purposes; might be a flea or might not. If you cannot get a more clearly focused image, I suggest that you place one or more of them in a small container of rubbing alcohol and take that to your county extension service office for assistance in identification.
