Hi I am in Alberta, Canada and noticed this little spider crawling up my pansies. Does anyone know what kind it is? I have never seen a white spider like this before!!

It's a crab spider (family Thomisidae); likely Misumena vatia, a very common and widespread species - http://www.spiders.us/image/misumena-vatia-14/
