Hi everyone, found this little creature in the bath tonight, anyone got an idea of which species it is? I was thinking black house spider, but I guess it's unlikely as I live in the UK. I let him out the window.
Any help is appreciated
CLOSED: Large black Spider identification
This is a ground spider in the family Gnaphosidae; one of the commoner species in Britain is Scotophaeus blackwalli, often called the mouse spider -
