What is this stuff

In my front area this is what I found. Now, about a week or so ago they added new mulch and the past few days have been rather wet. What can the white stuff be.

It's just fungi. It won't hurt your garden any and they tend to pop up in mulch when it's wet like it has been.

Yes, it's fairly harmless but I would scoop it up and throw it away before it releases its spores. It happens frequently with new mulch and some call it dog vomit fungus.
