We recently cut a dead tree and this morning while cleaning the mess I noticed this worm. What is it? I also took photo of worm still living in a piece of wood. Don't remember the tree could have been an oak or an elm.

This is a larva of a long-horned wood-boring beetle in the family Cerambycidae.
