I purchased milkweed and had it on the patio to plant when I saw a huge black wasp with red wings. I immediately went to the computer to look it up. I purchased the milkweed for the butterflies but read that the Tarantula Hawk is attracted to the flowers. The article said it packs a powerful sting. Not so sure if I should plant or not. Has anyone else had any dealings with this insect?
