We found this in a muddy/watery area of our backyard. It has a slug-like body, but also has legs, pincers, and maybe a stinger on the tail. It is very aggressive and seems to need water to live. Help us! Thanks!

What color is this slug with legs? And did it have slime as a slug would? I cannot think of anything, but it may help another. :)

If you do not have an infestation, it may not be a problem. Aggressiveness is a means of protection whether for itself or eggs/young.

This is a larva of an aquatic insect, perhaps a beetle of some kind. I would like to see the head more clearly; that really would help with an i.d.
