Hi! I live I New Orleans, Louisiana and we have wild sensitive plants (mimosa pudica) growing here. I have always wanted a sensitive plant so I attempted to propagate one by taking two separate cuttings, and they are growing! My problem is that I'm growing them in pots and on the internet I always read about them growing vertically, but around here all the ones I see grow horizontally, crawling across the ground. How do I get my New plants to grow up? Why do they grow horizontally here?
