I bought a climbing rose with the intention of planting in a spot where it would grow vertically. But after I planted it, I read that it prefers to grow horizontally along fences. I don't want to move the rose plant. Will it flower if I let it stay where it is and train it to grow vertically up the wall?
Thanks,
Kay
can climbing rose grow vertically?
Yes, it should, Kay. Do you have a trellis or some other upright support for it?
