Identification Help: Beetles and other insects on a rose

Cranbrook, Canada

I have three videos of various insects on wild roses. If it is preferable, I can make screen captures of each video. The videos are taken in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada (near Vancouver) in the natural setting of a river estuary.

The first is a beetle around ~ 2mm long:

As I don't know insects very well, I'm not even sure what this is. It's approx. 1/2"long. There is also a tiny fly on the rose:

Lastly are two beetles that are probably around 1/2" long:

Much thanks in advance for any help. I understand how great of a mutlitude of beetles and other insect species there are and how a definite identification could be difficult from just these clips. Any narrowing down of possibilities would be awesome.
