These guys (or ladies) were hanging out near each other when I put the grill cover back on. What do I have here?
Thanks!
CLOSED: Two Spiders on My Grill Cover
The one on the left is a theridiid in the genus Steatoda. Sometimes called false widow spiders, some species can have a very painful but not dangerous bite. Not sure about the one on the right; might be an opilionid and not a true spider...
Cool! I thought the fat spider looked like a black widow, but without the red hour glass on the back. I thought maybe it was a male.
Thanks Flapdoodle!
