The spider is bright green with a orange "hat" that looks almost like a tiny ladybug ( can't see that detail in the cellphone picture). Moves rather quickly - fell from a oak tree.
We are in Houston, TX area.
Attached is the best picture I have of the spider.

This looks like a juvenile magnolia green jumping spider- Lyssomanes viridis...
