Is this spider native to UK & is it dangerous?

Hi,

We live in Cheshire, United Kingdom and frequently eat imported fruit. I found this spider sitting on a wall and it was approx 2 cm across (maybe juvenile?) and it is the first time I have seen this type of spider in the house during spring.

What is this and is it dangerous?
