It's a beetle of some sort, but can't tell you much more from this image. If it's fairly large (3/4"or more), it might be a blister beetle - see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/144054813 for an example.

if it is Dark Blister Beetle it cause blistering of the skin so be carful
