Encountered this Crane Fly yesterday. Perhaps the photos are enough to lead to an ID. Thanks.

It's in the genus Tipula, but there are severfal species in this genus that can have a very similar appearance. See http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/71126835 for an example.
