We had a tremendously beautiful patch of ferns get mowed down today by our lawn care people. It was a huge patch; it surrounded three sides of the house. I am devastated and angry. I'm not sure of the species, but maybe ostrich ferns?
I suspect the answer is that I have to wait a year to see them again, but is there any chance they'll come back this year? They had only recently reached full height.
Will ferns mowed down come back this year?
