I can't seem to figure out how to post a comment on my own thread but thanks to both of you for answering my previous birdbath question. I should have been clearer. I want to plant pink & lavender COLORED flowers. I have the pink petunias but haven't purchased any lavender colored ones yet. I'll take your advice & plant the petunias. Last year I planted a pretty salvia called blue oak sage but, unfortunately, I'm able to grow most everything except blue. I have killed several Plumbago plants. Considering planting it in a pot this year & moving to garage in winter.
