Fuzzy Caterpillar Identification
This appears to be a caterpillar of Lophocampa ingens (see http://www.forestryimages.org/browse/detail.cfm?imgnum=1468221), it will become a tiger moth - see http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Lophocampa-ingens for an image.
I found two caterpillars like this yesterday in the grass. They probably overwinter as larvae and then pupate in the spring. My best guess is that it is a larva of a species of tiger moth.
