This approx 30cm pearly-white moth was on the outside of my window today, and I was able to get a two-way shot.
CLOSED: Small moth ID
It's in the family Geometridae; likely in the genus Poecilasthena - http://naturewatch.org.nz/taxa/poecilasthena_pulchraria
