My duranta plant suffering curled/cupped leaves . 90% of the plant leaves are cupped/curled including new growth. Pls help me figure out the problem.
Duranta erecta leaves cupped/curled problem
It is a physiological response of any plant and is usually caused by inconsistent soil moisture levels - going from very wet to very dry and back again. I see signs of leaf edema in some of the pics which indicates the plants have been over-watered several times. Perhaps if you can better stabilize the watering regimen - avoid the extremes - the problem will be resolved.
Another consideration is the size of the container. As any plant becomes root bound in its container it becomes increasingly impossible to stabilize the soil moisture level. Transplanting to a somewhat larger container will help.
Hope this helps.
